The Funnel Builder allows you to visually create the journey your customers take after purchasing your products. You can connect your Front End products to Upsells and Downsells, making it easy to build everything from a simple two-product funnel to a complex multi-step sales journey.
Once your funnel has been configured, JVZoo will generate the Buy Buttons and No Thanks links required for your sales pages.
Before you begin, make sure you have already created the products you want to include in your funnel.
Create a New Funnel
From the main menu, navigate to Sellers → Manage Funnels, then click Add Funnel.
You’ll be asked to configure a few basic settings before opening the Funnel Builder.
Funnel Name
This is the internal name used to identify the funnel inside your JVZoo account.
Display Name
The Display Name is shown to affiliates when viewing your funnel.
Release Date
Choose the date and time your funnel should become active.
Note: Funnel statistics begin tracking from the Release Date you select.
Front End Product
Select the product customers will purchase first. This becomes the starting point for your customer journey.
Additional Settings
Depending on your requirements, you may also wish to configure the following options:
Private
Prevents the funnel and its products from appearing in the Find Products section for affiliates.
One Click Upsell
Allows customers to purchase Upsells using a single click without re-entering their payment information.
Allow Parameter Passthrough
Passes supported URL parameters between your sales pages and checkout pages.
Lock Affiliate After Initial Sale
Ensures the affiliate credited with the original sale continues to receive credit throughout the entire funnel.
Once you’ve finished configuring these settings, click Next Step: Funnel Builder.
Understanding the Funnel Builder
When the Funnel Builder opens, your selected Front End Product has already been added.
Products are grouped together based on their Sales Page URL, making it easier to visualize your customer journey.
Each product can have:
- An Upsell path for customers who purchase the offer.
- A Downsell path for customers who decline the offer.
- Buy Buttons used on your sales pages.
You can zoom in and out by holding CTRL while using your mouse wheel, and use the middle mouse button to pan around larger funnels.
Add Additional Products
If your funnel has more than one entry product, click Add Product to add another Front End product.
Products added using the Add Product button become additional entry points within your funnel.
To connect products together after a purchase or decline, use the Upsell and Downsell paths inside the Funnel Builder.
Connect Your Upsells and Downsells
To add an Upsell, click the + beside the Upsell path on a product and select the next product customers should see after purchasing.
A green connection line will appear showing the purchase path.
If you would like to present an alternative offer when a customer declines an Upsell, click the + beside the Downsell path and select the product you would like to display instead.
You can continue connecting products together to create your complete customer journey.
Verify Your Customer Journey
As you build your funnel, the Customer Journey section at the bottom of the page updates automatically.
The Customer Journey provides an easy-to-read list showing:
- The pages customers will visit.
- Where customers go after purchasing.
- Where customers go if they click No Thanks.
You can also click any product in the Funnel Builder to display the journey starting from that product only. This makes it much easier to verify larger funnels before sending traffic.
Generate Your Buy Buttons
Once you’ve finished building your funnel, you’ll need to place the generated Buy Buttons onto your sales pages.
Click Buy Buttons beneath any product to open the Buy Button generator.
From here you can:
- Select one of the built-in button styles, or use your own.
- Copy the Embed Code and place it on your sales page.
- Copy the No Thanks Link for any Upsell or Downsell pages where customers can decline the offer.
Note: Your Front End product does not require a No Thanks link.
That’s It!
Your sales funnel is now configured.
Before sending traffic to your funnel, perform a complete test purchase to ensure customers follow the expected journey through your Front End products, Upsells, and Downsells.
