Integrate Your Mailvio Account with JVZoo

JVZoo integrates directly with Mailvio, allowing you to automatically add customers to your Mailvio account whenever they purchase one of your products. You can organize customers into Groups, apply Tags, and create Segments for more targeted email marketing.

This guide will walk you through connecting your Mailvio account and configuring a product to send customers directly to Mailvio after purchase.

Connect Your Mailvio Account

  1. Log in to your JVZoo account.
  2. From the main dashboard, click My Account and select Integrations.
  3. Scroll through the list of available integrations and select Mailvio.

Locate Your Mailvio API Key

Before connecting your account, you’ll need your Mailvio API Key.

  1. Log in to your Mailvio account.
  2. Navigate to the API Keys page:

  1. Select an existing API key or create a new one.
  2. Ensure the API key is:

    • Enabled
    • Write Enabled

Connect Mailvio to JVZoo

  1. Enter a friendly name for your account (for example, My Mailvio).
  2. Paste your Mailvio API Key into the API Key field.
  3. Click Submit.

Your Mailvio account is now connected to JVZoo.


Connect Mailvio to a Product

Once your Mailvio account has been connected, you can configure individual products to automatically send customers to Mailvio.

  1. Open the Product Editor for the product you wish to configure.
  2. Navigate to the Advanced tab.
  3. Select Create an Autoresponder Integration.
  4. From the Autoresponder dropdown list, select Mailvio.

Store Your Customer’s Name (Optional)

If you would like JVZoo to send your customer’s name to Mailvio, you must first create a custom field in Mailvio named:

CUSTOMERNAME

Choose or Create a Group

Every contact added by JVZoo must belong to a Mailvio Group.

You can either:

  • Select an existing Group, or
  • Create a new Group.

To create a new Group:

  1. Select Create New Group.
  2. Enter a name for your Group, such as:

My Offer Frontend


Automatically Apply Tags (Optional)

Tags help organize contacts based on the products they purchase.

You can either:

  • Select existing Tags, or
  • Create new Tags.

To create new Tags:

  1. Click + Create New Tags.
  2. Enter one or more tag names separated by commas.

Example:

JVZoo, Frontend

Press Enter to create the tags.

Whenever a customer purchases this product, these tags will automatically be applied to their contact record.


Create a Segment (Optional)

Segments make it easy to filter subscribers based on Groups and Tags.

For example, you might create:

  • My Frontend
  • My Upsell
  • VIP Customers

This allows you to quickly send targeted email campaigns to customers who meet specific criteria.

For example, you could send an email only to customers who purchased your frontend product but did not purchase your upsell.

A Segment is simply a rule that combines:

  • A Mailvio Group
  • One or more Tags
  • A Segment Name

Once configured, click Save.


That’s It!

Your Mailvio integration is now complete.

Whenever a customer purchases your product, JVZoo will automatically add them to your selected Mailvio Group, apply any configured Tags, and include them in any matching Segments, making it easy to automate your email marketing and follow-up campaigns.
