When a refund is issued on a JVZoo Processing Services transaction, the standard processing fee of 3.5% + $1 is not returned.

Because JVZoo does not receive this fee back from the payment processor, any processing fees JVZoo incurs as a result of a refund will be passed on to the vendor or product owner.

When a vendor uses JVZoo’s processing services, they are responsible for understanding that processing fees are charged on the original transaction and are not refunded when the transaction is later refunded.

Pass-Through Fees
In addition to the standard processing fee, there may be other transaction-related costs that are not returned to JVZoo when a refund occurs. These are referred to as pass-through fees.

Examples may include:
• Cross-border processing fees
 • Tax remittance fees
 • Other non-refundable processor or payment network costs

Any pass-through fees incurred by JVZoo that are not returned during a refund will be deducted from the vendor’s account.
