Create and configure a product in JVZoo by providing key product details such as the product name, sales page URL, description, category, and visibility settings.
These settings control how the product is displayed to customers and affiliates and when it becomes available for purchase. Once configured, the product is ready to be promoted, sold, and managed through the JVZoo platform.
Start by logging in to the JVZoo platform at https://www.jvzoo.com/login.
JVZoo has two separate account types, each with its own login:
- Vendor/Affiliate Account – Used for selling products or promoting offers as an affiliate: https://jvzoo.com/auth/login
- Customer Account – Used to access products that have been purchased: https://customer.jvzoo.com/
If there is no existing Vendor/Affiliate account, a separate registration is required, as it is not linked to the customer (purchase) account.
Once logged in, go to the menu on the left-hand side and click on the Sellers tab to access the sellers dashboard and available tools.
To start creating your product, navigate to the Seller Dashboard.
Adding your first product on JVZoo is straightforward, but there are several settings you’ll want to get right to ensure your product is properly configured for affiliates and customers.
Navigate to Add Product
On your Seller Dashboard, look for the “Add Product” button. Click it to start the process. This is where you’ll begin creating your product listing.
On the Add Product to JVZoo page, you’ll see an Add Product column with "Select” button. Click this button. It will take you to the next page where you can start filling in your product details.
Open General Information Tab
On the product page, click the General Information tab. This is where you’ll enter the key details about your product.
Choose the type of product you’re selling (digital, physical, service, etc.). Make sure it matches what you’re offering so affiliates and customers understand it clearly.
Fill in the "Product Name" field. This is what customers will see, so make it clear, attractive, and easy to remember.
Enter the URL of your product’s sales page. This is where your customers will go to make a purchase, so double-check the link is correct and active.
In the "Description" field, provide a concise and compelling description. Explain what your product does, why it’s valuable, and what problem it solves. Clear descriptions help affiliates promote your product effectively.
Choose the category that best fits your product. This helps affiliates and buyers find it in searches and ensures it’s grouped with similar products.
-
In the "Product Status", select the status of your product. This setting controls whether your product is visible and accessible to affiliates and buyers right away or kept hidden until you’re ready to launch:
Available to be purchased – Your product is live and can be purchased by buyers immediately.
Not available to be purchased – Your product is saved but not yet available for purchase.
In the Additional Settings section, you need to fill in details that control your product’s visibility and availability.
- In the "Release Date" field, pick the date when your product will officially go live. This is when your customers can actually start buying it.
In the "Select time in Eastern" field, pick the time when your product will officially go live. This is when your customers can start buying it. Please note that the time is in Eastern Time (ET).
"Use a Pre-release Page until product is ready to be sold" flip this toggle on, if your product isn’t quite ready yet. It will show a pre-release page to visitors until your official launch, so you can start building interest without actually selling the product yet.
If you are planning to close your product after a certain time? Turn this toggle on "Close Date with Redirect Option to Custom Page or Marketplace". You’ll get to choose where people go when the product is closed, either a custom page you set or straight back to the JVZoo Marketplace.
The in "Closing Date" field, fill in the exact date and time your product will no longer be available.
In the "Select time in Eastern" field, pick the time when your product will officially no longer available. Please note that the time is in Eastern Time (ET).
Turn this toggle on, "Discoverable to Affiliate" if you want your product to show up on the Find Products page for affiliates. Just keep in mind: your product won’t appear there until you’ve made 10 or more sales.
Click the Find Products page link to see how affiliates search for products. It opens a page showing the JVZoo affiliate marketplace.
Click the Marketplace link to see how your product will show up and how affiliates browse it.
Toggle this on, “Consider my product for Product of the Day on the JVZoo site” if you want your product to be considered for Product of the Day on JVZoo. It will show you the commission payout for that promotion. This helps you see how much affiliates will earn if they promote your product through this special email campaign.
Toggle "Order Bump Exclusive Product" on allows you to sell the product without a standard sales page, but it cannot be sold on its own, it’s exclusively an upsell for another product.
Once completed the form above, click on "Save Draft And Go to Next Step"
